The absence of fathers is an epidemic
plaguing our society, affecting families
from every corner of our world and from
all walks of life. Whether a father left
entirely or was physically present, but
emotionally distant, the little girl he
left behind missed out on an affirming,
intimate father-love. In Monique
Robinson's newest book, “Longing for
Daddy,” she teaches these women
how to heal from the trauma of
losing their fathers.
